It is the complete system of railings and balusters that prevents people from falling over the edge and simply it is a term for the vertical posts that hold up the handrail. Sometimes this is called guards or spindles. Treads often require two balusters. The second baluster is closer to the riser and is taller than the first. The extra height in the second baluster is typically in the middle between decorative elements on the baluster. That way the bottom decorative elements are aligned with the tread and the top elements are aligned with the railing angle. However, this means the first and second balusters are manufactured separately and cannot be interchanged. Balusters without decorative elements can be interchanged.

Marble Art – Balustrade

Marble mosaic is a decorative marble art form that involves arranging small pieces of colorful marble or other natural stones, such as granite or travertine, into intricate patterns or designs. The pieces are typically cut into small, square or rectangle shapes, called tesserae, and then assembled on a surface, such as a floor, wall, or tabletop. Marble mosaic dates back to ancient times, and it has been used to create stunning works of art and architecture throughout history. Today, marble mosaic is still a popular choice for adding a touch of elegance and sophistication to homes, hotels, and other commercial spaces.

The process of creating marble mosaic begins with the careful selection and precision cutting of tesserae, small square or rectangle-shaped pieces that form the building blocks of the design. These tesserae, with their diverse colors and textures, are then meticulously arranged and assembled by skilled artisans, who bring to life the envisioned patterns or designs. The result is a breathtaking amalgamation of colors, shapes, and textures that exudes both harmony and complexity. EMG can provide any design of mosaic.

Water Jet

Water jet designs are created by a water jet cutter – a tool capable of slicing into marble and granite using a jet of water at high velocity and pressure, or a mixture of water and an abrasive substance could be used for operations such as cutting, shaping, carving and reaming.

The water jet cutter harnesses the remarkable properties of water, transforming it into a tool that can shape and transform marble and granite with exceptional accuracy. The high-pressure water stream acts as a focused force, allowing artisans to cut through the stone with incredible precision and control. By adjusting the pressure and speed of the water jet, craftsmen can achieve a wide range of cutting depths and create intricate designs that were once only possible through labor-intensive manual techniques.

EMG employ the water jet method as it has the ability to cut without interfering with the material’s structural properties as there is no “heat-affected zone” meaning metals can be cut without harming.

Wall cladding

Wall cladding is when a material is used to cover the exterior wall. It is also important in areas such as kitchens and bathrooms to use a method like this to prevent the walls against water, heat or gas vapors produced when cooking. Without wall cladding in these cases paint will usually peel from the walls and walls can become damaged. To prevent this from happening wall cladding is the best solution and it can also be an attractive feature in your home. Marble art with finishing as rock face, split face and others similar to this gives the wall a unique look, more appealing than a plain wall. Wall cladding also has many other decorative purposes.

In addition to its protective qualities, wall cladding offers an opportunity to add a touch of style and elegance to any environment. One of the most captivating choices for wall cladding is marble, a timeless and luxurious material that exudes sophistication. With various finishing techniques available, such as rock face, split face, and others, marble cladding can elevate the visual impact of a wall, transforming it into a stunning focal point.
